Latest News - Changing name but no change in service

Following the AGM in September 2011, Age Concern Leicester Shire and Rutland has become Age UK Leicester Shire and Rutland. This follows on from the creation of Age UK after the national merger of the two major age charities, Age Concern England and Help the Aged, back in 2009.
As with the rest of the charity it will, be business as usual for the Directory meaning there will be no change in the service we are offering.
The local Age UK Business Directory is a free service for you to find a trustworthy builder, plumber, joiner, plasterer, gardener, roofer, solicitor or any other type of supplier or service. We list reputable retailers as well as contractors and mobility aid providers. You can be assured that we are very careful about the services we promote on the dircetory and each company has been checked by local Age UK staff and has agreed to abide by our customer charter. If you cannot find what you are looking for try one of the neighbouring directories in Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire
